The outdoor industry loves its gear, and DUER, Royal Robbins, and Black Diamond Equipment are sharing some new product news this month.
DUER
Vancouver-based performance apparel brand DUER has taken a traditional fabric and reengineered it with 360-degree stretch and performance features like a signature motion gusset.
The proprietary Stretch Canvas weave integrates 360-degree stretch fibers and DUER’s signature motion gusset for maximum range of movement and comfort in any situation. The material is crafted from a blend of 93% cotton for breathability, 5% Lycra® T400®, and 2% Elastane for stretch and shape retention. It is finished with a DWR light-rain repellent treatment for added outdoor protection. Adding to its uniqueness, Stretch Canvas uses a dyeing technique similar to denim, allowing it to age beautifully for a worn-in look over time.
The collection is available in the following styles:
- Men’s Stretch Canvas 7 Pocket Pant (MSRP $149) – DUER’s most relaxed fit features its signature gusset for added range of motion, performance fibers for quick drying, and a DWR treatment to repel light rain. Available in black, teak, and pine.
- Women’s Stretch Canvas Utility Pant (MSRP $149) – In DUER’s most relaxed fit, this modern take on the classic utility pant integrates stretch fibers for ease of movement in a lightweight fabric. Available in black, teak, and pine with quick-drying performance fibers and a DWR treatment for water resistance, this style offers a contemporary approach to traditional workwear.
- Women’s Stretch Canvas Overall (MSRP $169) – These overalls combine modern comfort with the vintage charm of old-school workwear. A unique dye process creates a worn-in look reminiscent of your favorite jeans. Key features include a zip front pocket for secure storage and a DWR treatment that repels light rain.
DUER’s Stretch Canvas collection is now available at select retailers, DUER retail stores, and online at ShopDUER.com.
