The Daily by Outdoor Retailer is launching a new awards program to honor outdoor business operators and celebrate their achievements.
More than 25 categories are represented, covering a wide range of outdoor industry functions including executive, product, and brand awards.
“We’re excited to launch The Daily Awards to recognize the outdoor industry’s hard work during a challenging year,” said Tiffany Montgomery, editor-in-chief of The Daily by Outdoor Retailer.
“With more than 25 nomination categories, there are many opportunities for a wide range industry brands and executives to participate. From recognizing stellar products in the market to celebrating nimble business leaders, we’re confident the readers of The Daily will find a new opportunity for their brands, companies, and leaders to be recognized.”
Entries are due Oct. 2 and finalists will be announced on The Daily’s website the week of Oct. 23.
Winners will be announced on Nov. 6 ahead of the Outdoor Retailer Winter show Nov. 14-16 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.
Outdoor industry businesses can be nominated in the following categories:

- Design & Merchandising Leader of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year

Product Awards:
- Camping Product of the Year
- Hiking Product of the Year
- Climbing Product of the Year
- Cycling Product of the Year
- Running Product of the Year
- Water Product of the Year
- Snow Product of the Year
- Overland Product of the Year
- Travel Product of the Year
- Lifestyle Product of the Year
- Best Collaboration of the Year
- Best Overall New Product of the Year

- Men’s Marketing Campaign of the Year
- Women’s Marketing Campaign of the Year
- Breakout Brand of the Year
- Outdoor Brand of the Year
- Customer Loyalty Program of the Year

- PR Agency of the Year
