In an effort to reduce the environmental impact of outdoor recreation, iKamper has found a unique solution to combat material waste with the new ReCovery Collection. This collection of hardwearing camp products is designed to empower the future of outdoor enthusiasts by investing in more sustainable manufacturing methods, not just innovative designs.
The ReCovery Collection–including a rain poncho, firewood carrier, apron and daily tote bag–has been developed with repurposed textiles from the manufacturing of iKamper’s Skycamp 2.0 roof top tents. Each product is constructed from either the ultra-dense poly-cotton canvas or the fully rainproof ripstop polyester used for their rooftop tents, ensuring each piece of the collection is durable and designed for long-term use around camp. The ReCovery Collection has been designed with a vision of continuing the story of these textiles – the ending of every story is simply the beginning of another.
“By giving a second life to unused materials common to our renowned roof top tent lines, we’re not only reducing waste but also creating unique and functional products that tell a story,” said Erik Flink, Director of Marketing and eCommerce at iKamper. “We hope that our customers will join us in this journey towards a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.”
iKamper’s ReCovery Collection is the perfect way to add more gear storage and weather protection around camp while simultaneously reducing environmental impact. iKamper’s ReCovery Collection launches April 20th, available at iKamper.com and at iKamper’s new showroom in Kent, WA.
