Outdoor Market Alliance (OMA), a collective of 25 independent sales and marketing agencies representing over 175 different brands in the outdoor and active lifestyle markets, is hosting its first-ever Rockies Footwear Showcase, to be held February 5th and 6th, 2024.
Based on year-over-year success with its seasonal Market Weeks, the OMA is now welcoming Rockies regional retail buyers to its Denver headquarters over the course of two days to see new and in-line footwear from over 45 notable footwear brands. Participating brands include those represented by sales groups within the OMA, as well as other footwear brands interested in reaching shelves of specialty retailers who offer a mix of outdoor, active, and casual footwear.
“Our market weeks are now proven to be both efficient and preferred by many of our Rockies-based retail buyers, and we’ve seen an emerging need for a footwear-specific buying marketplace here in the Rockies,” said Steve Copeland, president and founding board member of OMA. “Building on the successes of our seasonal market weeks and media shows, a regional footwear show serves our sales reps and retail buyers, as well as brands without representation within the OMA. We are excited to launch this Rockies Footwear Showcase to support the market and connect a wider reach of regional buyers with national footwear brands.”
The OMA has just wrapped its fourth successful seasonal Market Weeks which offered buyers the convenience of buying and finding their retail assortments in one regional hub over two weeks in November and December. It will also host its fourth Denver Media Show on February 21st and 22nd, where a growing number of editors and journalists can preview new products and discover new stories from outdoor and active lifestyle brands, all onsite at OMA’s Denver hub.
