Rab and Lowe Alpine, industry leaders in merging the development of quality outdoor gear and apparel with sustainability and environmental awareness, announced today that it has named Ross Herr to the company’s new position of Vice President of U.S. Sales, putting a proven industry veteran in charge of the companies’ sales direction in the United States.

Herr joins the Rab and Lowe Alpine team after spending the past two years as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Oberalp Group, the European giant which owns leading outdoor brands Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, Evolv and LaMunt.
Herr spent a total of eight years working in various sales and marketing positions with the Oberalp Group out of the company’s Colorado office, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing.
He steps into a brand new role with Rab and Lowe Alpine, and their parent company, Equip.
Herr will be tasked with deepening Equip’s connections to specialty retailers in the United States, developing key account relationships, and leading an expansive team of independent sales representatives.

Herr is a Colorado native and will work out of the company’s office with Chamberlain in Louisville. He will officially start his position on Aug. 28.
