Vail Resorts announced that the company’s chief marketing officer, Ryan Bennett, will no longer be with the company starting Oct. 20.
In a SEC report filed on Monday, the company said Bennett’s departure will be treated as an involuntary separation under the company’s executive severance policy.
According to the filing, Bennett will receive standard executive severance benefits and also receive his annual cash bonus for the year.
Bennett joined Vail Resorts in February 2019 as vice president of marketing analytics and insights, according to the Vail Daily.
He served as CMO for nearly two years, earning a base salary of $400,000 and 1,309 shares of common stock in the company along with other incentives that equaled a total compensation of $1.22 million in fiscal year 2022, the newspaper reported.
The Vail Daily also reports Bennett is the third of the company’s six executive officers to leave over the last year, including James C. O’Donnell, president of Vail’s mountain division, and Michael Barkin, former executive vice president and chief financial officer.
