Sea to Summit, the global manufacturer of adventure equipment, is excited to announce their new 2023 product launches. Sea to Summit will expand its award-winning tent and dry storage categories with the release of the Ikos tent, Big River Dry Pack, eVac Compression Dry Bag HD, and various product iterations within the dry storage category. The new product launch highlights the brand’s continued commitment to detail-oriented, innovative, durable and sustainable design, and versatile product offerings for self-reliant adventures across terrains and activities.
After entering the tent category in 2021, Sea to Summit has received numerous industry accolades for clever yet functional design features like improved interior livable space, user-centric design details, and greater ventilation for improved climate control. Consumers will notice the Ikos tent continues to deliver legacy design versatility, including an optional ‘Hangout Mode’ turning the tent into an open-air shelter to protect against inclement weather or blazing heat. Additionally, the tent continues to improve interior livable space through a wider floor volume to accommodate modern, rectangular sleeping mats. The 2-person and 3-person models target vehicle-assisted car campers, leisure adventurers, and mid-mountain backpackers seeking greater comfort in tents.
Notably, the Ikos tent is Sea to Summit’s most sustainable tent to date. After meticulous material research and innovation, the brand was able to create market-leading sustainability innovations to deliver a best-in-class tent that doesn’t sacrifice the features most important to audiences. The Ikos tent uses first-to-market DAC MX poles made with a greener anodization process to lessen environmental impact, a chemical-free, flame-resistant fabric, and a Non-PFC water-repellent finish.
Additionally, Sea to Summit will update and streamline its heritage dry storage collection. In addition to launching new products like the Big River Dry Pack and eVac Compression Dry Bag HD, the brand has made sustainable enhancements to legacy lightweight dry bags and stuff sacks. The category refresh offers a clean segmentation between Heavy Duty, Lightweight, and Ultralight product families, and incorporates decades of market-leading design solutions and consumer feedback to offer intuitive features.
Consumers will appreciate the user-centric design details incorporated throughout the product offering, including easy-repair field buckles, optional Sling carry solutions for cumbersome loads, ultralight dry storage solutions for weight-conscious adventurers, and robust 420-Denier ripstop nylon bags for the most rugged pursuits.
“For more than 30 years, Sea to Summit has focused on creating some of the most innovative equipment solutions on the market, offering unparalleled durability. The recent product launches highlight the future of our design, the meticulous and thoughtful features we work to incorporate, and the potential in which we can integrate sustainable materials and solutions into our core offering,” Sea to Summit’s North America General Manager, Josh Simpson states.
The new dry storage products will be available for purchase on March 6th, and the Ikos tent will be available for purchase on March 10th at seatosummit.com.
