Tread Labs, a leading performance insole and footwear developer established by Chaco founder Mark Paigen, today debuted its Spring ‘24 sandal line with premium components, including leather, elevated styles and flip flops adding fashion and versatility to its warm weather classics. The brand is reinforcing its commitment to providing consumers planet-friendly solutions with no-glue styles, sustainable 3D-knit upper made from recycled components and resoleable bottoms. Tread Lab’s best-selling insoles enrich its original heritage with comfort and recovery options. Styles will be available online and at select specialty retailers in June of next year.
“Our Spring 24 line is a purposeful extension of the successful styles of our footwear launch earlier this year,” said founder Mark Paigen. “We are not only adding best in class components for a richer, stylish look for men and women, we are continuing our commitment to sustainable solutions with silhouettes that do not use glue and have 3D knit recycled uppers, in addition to our resoling program. In tandem with our classic insole technology, our line enables retailers to introduce more consumers to the Tread Labs family.”
The new Salinas sandal for men and women is a classic open toe sandal with leather straps and an oversized buckle. The Salinas is also available with 3D knit straps. The Orleans, the brand’s first flip flop, comes with leather or 3D knit straps and has a contoured foot bed for maximum comfort. The new Redway, a recovery sandal for men, rounds out the collection, offering an option for those that do not like a strap between the toes. It features all the benefits of the Albion and Covelo, but with a strap across the feet.
The Albion and Covelo sandals, designed for walking and recovery, return for Spring ‘24 with a new colorway, strawberry, for women. They are machine washable, with a contoured footbed, 3d knit upper and adjustable straps. In addition, the Pace, Ramble and Dash insoles remain in line.
All Tread Labs insoles can be refurbished, keeping them out of landfills, as part of Tread Labs sustainability initiatives. The company has refurbished nearly 10,000 insoles and sandals since its founding in 2017.

Tread Labs was founded in 2015 by Mark Paigen, who previously founded (and later sold) Chaco sandals. Tread Labs was created to improve people’s lives by giving feet the support they desperately need. Tread Labs’ proprietary two-part insole system is designed for the long haul. The molded arch supports are guaranteed forever and the top covers are easily replaced to make insoles like new again, without having to buy a whole new pair. Better for the wallet, better for the planet.
