Cascade Designs, the Seattle-based parent company of several outdoor industry brands, has hired David Fee as vice president of sales and marketing for the North America and Pacific Rim regions.
Fee is tasked with driving the sales and marketing strategy for the regions across all of Cascade Design’s product categories and channels, among other duties.
He has more than 25 years of experience working in the outdoor industry, including with Garmont North America, Bowtech Archery and Yakima Products.
Fee most recently worked as U.S. general manager at Castelli Cycling/Sportful USA, where he managed U.S. operations for the cycling apparel brands.
“David is a collaborative, analytical and charismatic marketing, sales, and product leader with extensive experience delivering strong, long-term growth in a broad range of premium consumer goods categories,” said Cascade Designs President Paul Connolly in a news release.
“His knowledge and experience working with so many respected and successful brands gives us confidence that David is more than equipped to help Cascade Designs continue our momentum of growth.”
Cascade Designs is the parent company of outdoor brands Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Therm-a-Rest, Platypus, SealLine, PackTowl and Varilite.
“This is my dream job,” Fee said in a release. “I grew up using Therm-A-Rest and MSR products in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. I still use them today … I look forward to working with this team to grow our world-class brands, and to ensure Cascade Designs continues to be a great place to work.”
