Mammut North America has added several new vice presidents to its executive team in North America to support its growth and expansion strategy.
The mountain safety brand, founded in Switzerland, has doubled its business year over year and is aiming to increase growth by 100% over the next three years, according to a company press release. The new vice president-level roles are being added to help support the brand’s growth in the region.
The new appointments at Mammut North America include:
VP of Marketing Maddie Petry, who returns to Mammut after two years as SVP, brand and marketing at Edge Eyewear. Petry previously served as director of marketing for Mammut from 2019-2021. She rejoined Mammut in January 2023.
VP of Sales Brian Block, who comes from Black Diamond Equipment. Block rose from business unit director, climbing sales, to vice president of sales during his five-year tenure at Black Diamond. He will join Mammut in May 2023.
VP of Operations Garrett Waldron, who previously spent 16 years at Marmot as director of inventory management. He starts at Mammut in May 2023.
Three existing team members were also promoted, including Leah Simkoff to VP of finance, Ian Armstrong to national sales director, and Collin Jenkins to commercial director.
